We buy your chosen bouquet fresh locally, recreate a bouquet fresh from your photo, or welcome your own flowers by local drop-off. First, we confirm your plan, timing, and price together by email.

Preserved in silica, designed with you

Your flowers rest in silica gel until fully preserved, with shape and color in full. We design the layout with you and send photo updates as your piece comes together.

Cast in resin & delivered

Your design is cast in epoxy resin, cured, sanded, and polished by hand. We then arrange pickup or delivery with you, sized and timed to your piece.

About the maker

Hi, I'm Justine.

I preserve flowers and create resin pieces by hand for Blooming Brigade LLC here in Northern New Mexico — one at a time, with many of the flowers in my work grown in our own gardens.

Silica gel is my method of choice because it returns your flower to you looking like the flower you remember: full color, full shape, held in resin for years of enjoyment. When you place an order, you write directly to me — and I design your piece, send your photo updates, and polish it by hand before it comes home to you.

Preservation captures a flower exactly as it arrives in the silica, so flowers preserved at their peak carry the strongest color and fullest shape into resin. Pick Your Bouquet gives you that peak freshness: we buy your flowers fresh, locally, and preserve them right away. For flowers with personal meaning — the bouquet you carried, memorial blooms — local drop-off while they are fresh preserves the flowers themselves at their best.
Place your order with your event date and we plan your drop-off together by email ahead of the day. Keep your blooms in water, in a cool spot, and bring them to the studio as soon after your celebration as suits you — ideally within a day or two, while they are at their freshest.
Your timeline is tailored to your piece: flowers take their time in the silica to preserve fully, and larger pieces are poured and cured in layers for a flawless finish. We confirm your timeline with your order so you know exactly when to expect your piece, with photo updates along the way.
Every commission is individually priced around your piece — its size, the resin and materials it calls for, and the flowers you choose. Place an order with the piece you have in mind and you receive complete pricing for your approval as part of your personal confirmation, before your piece begins.
Absolutely — choose Replication in the order form and attach your photo to your order email. We buy fresh flowers matching the colors, types, and spirit of your photo and preserve those. Your recreation follows your photo petal by petal, and as a handmade piece it is one of one: a bouquet with the same heart as the original, made fresh for you.
Roses, dahlias, orchids, and sunflowers are stars in silica — they hold color and shape beautifully. Most bouquet flowers preserve wonderfully, and our studio guides you flower by flower when you bring your own, so you know the lovely results to expect from each bloom in your arrangement.
Your piece loves a bright spot out of prolonged direct sunlight, a soft cloth for dusting, and gentle cleaners. For table tops, use a trivet or coaster under very hot dishes, as you would with fine wood. Treated kindly, your piece keeps its flowers beautifully for years.
